This product is NOT as good as described.
I bought this product on 04-04-2025. On my first use the PLUNGER broke off and got stuck in the drain hole and it's impossible to get it back out. Very disappointed and a waste of money

Drain rods
My tenant blocked the drains so I bought a set a rods. They wasn’t the most expensive and they did the job.

Don't bother
Bought these to sort a bloked drain. Now waiting for a professional to come out and retrieve the rods as they unscrewed themselves and now I have 4 meters of rod in my still blocked drain

Simple but effective
We had to keep calling in the emergency plumber almost monthly, who was always too busy to rod the cesspit drain and only used the pressure washer. For the price of the callout the purchase of the rods was a bargain. Waiting a few days for the plumber and having to tolerate blocked drains is hopefully over. In less than 30 minutes I rodded the drain, cleared the blockage then cleaned using a pressure washer to be sure it was clear. The Rods are a bargain.

Satisfied customer
Had plumber out twice sorted in five mins! So decided to get rods. Got one set not long enough got a second. Excellent. Need to check each section firmly screwed flexible enough for bends rigged enough to clear blockage.

Essential, quality kit
My blockage was very hard to remove, so tried to clear out the dirty water first then used caustic soda Max strength available in B&Q, poured this down. After one night, used this rod clockwise pushing. It’s work wonderfully! Highly recommended

Good quality tool
My concern in advance was that the rods might not be flexible enough to get round the initial elbow, but in fact there was no problem. Buying ( and immediately using ) the rods saved me a lot of time, effort and money.

Well worth the money
After spending over 2hrs try to clear blocked drain with power washer. Decided to purchase the Bailey 12 piece rod and it cleared the blockage within 10mins. Definitely worth the money. 5*
