Not for artists
Artists: Do not use for oil paintings, the residual sulphur May react with the pigment in your oil paint causing a blotchiness to appear in the painting after a few days.

Worth the extra expense to avoid the smell
This is a great item and worth the extra expense just to avoid the lingering smell of white spirit, especially if like me you wash your brushes out in the utility room. Sadly, not every B&Q store sells this product - although I can't understand the reason why some stores do and others don't. So you may have to hunt around if your nearest B&Q store doesn't stock this item.

Pure naphta
Its american name is naphta which is hard to find ,I bought this product for a chemistry assignment (DMT), it works brilliantly

Don't clean oil based paint from brushes
Had our bristle brushes for years, always been cleaned well and were in tip top condition - until now that is, because of this White Spirit that don't get the brushes clean!
