Feature Fireplace
We have had this fireplace a few weeks now and love it, although I was very disappointed that it didn't have a switch for the lights, I managed to purchase a sensor switch from a well known auction site and had to drill a hole in the marble to fit it, once fitted I could then mount it to the wall following the instructions which were quite clear, there was no need for any mortar which was suggested, I used an adhesive filler which did the job. I would have given it 5 stars except for the switch. It was delivered on time and the driver and his assistant were very careful, friendly and efficient. Recommended.

First Class
My Wife and I, was more than satisfied with Fire Surround you only need look at it and you can see the money in the marble, And when the lights are switched on it takes you breath away. It's out of this world.

Good quality fire place
Solid unit easily put together. Could do with remote control switch for lights otherwise looks really good. Value for money.

Really smart fireplace - good value
I purchased this fireplace 10 days ago. It was delivered more quickly than I expected and I had over a week's notice of the delivery window. I had the option of choosing an alternative delivery time too. On the delivery morning I received a call from the delivery men to say it was arriving shortly. Easy to install and the finish and effect is excellent: a simple and sleek design; with a new Opti-myst fire installed the result is superb. I opted for the light option which adds good additional lighting flexibility to the room. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the lights need switching from the power source - there is no switch hidden under the mantle recess as I expected. The instructions talk about an infra red sensor version but this was not an option when I made the purchase. Extremely pleased I went for this and at half the price of the local specialist shop for similar.

Looks great !
We are impressed with the overall finish, looks a class job while much cheaper than others found elsewhere. Just two small issues: one of the halogen bulbs went off on the first day and the back panel has no fixing to the wall which allows it to be moved by applying pressure to it. I know a bulb can go any time so I guess we were just unlucky. If I was fitting it again I would use a bracket to fit the panel to keep it secure.
