Woefully bad
The spindle hole is far too small, you’ll need a hammer to bang them in to place. Thing is, you’ll then need to treat the handle for the marks from the hammer. Avoid, they’re not worth the money

Not Fit for Purpose
Do not buy this. The hole in the metal washers is too small for the bar, the screws don't hold the bar. Its absolutely useless as they are not able to bite into the slot in the bar( I did have it the right way round) I am taking it back. 32 mile round trip !.

One hour in...still not fitted
These are atrocious. As per the comments below, nothing fits together. The wood screw won't purchase on to the spindle and it's too short. We've broken a drill bit trying to modify as per another suggestion below. We'd painted these black before trying to fix otherwise these would definitely be going back. Avoid like the plague. These should be taken off the shelf B&Q!

Not fit for purpose.
I tried to fit a pair of these for my son this afternoon. Should be a 5 minute job. I have now given up while I try to modify the bar and/or find some screws that will work. Supplying simple wood screws that need to bite in to the split steel bar is laughable. They are probably too short for the job and they certainly don’t have the strength in the thread to cut in to the bar. Now reading the reviews, I can see that B& Q have been selling these for at least 5 years (possibly struggling to get rid of their stock .??).

Fitting is a joke
Unfortunately, I bought 2 sets of these knobs before I read the reviews. I wholeheartedly agree with the comments regarding the use of too short wood screws to be fixed into a steel bar. I challenge the manufacturer to fit a pair of these knobs with the materials supplied. As one of the other reviewers commented, it is possible to fix these knobs if you have a supply of other bits and pieces, the supplied parts are NOT up to the job. B&Q, you need to get your product quality assessment up to scratch.

Fitting is NOT easy!
Thinking that fitting these door knobs (to replace some chewed by our dog) would be a ten-minute job, proved to be a long way from fact. There are 2 things wrong with the kit. First, the metal washers which should fit inside the knobs (around the spindle) do NOT fit into the knobs. Second, the spindle screws (described as "short") are much too short to reach the spindle. Luckily, being a bit of a hoarder, I had other screws which were long enough, otherwise I would have had to waste another 45 minutes going back to my local B&Q store to complain.

Dreadful. Do not buy
The screws do not bite as they are the wrong type and the wrong length. The metal washers are too small to fit the handle. The components do not fit each other, the instructions are minimal and unhelpful. The only way to fit it is as a bodge job, providing your own screws

Really awful
Poor quality, no means of properly fixing and securing. Total waste of money and time trying to make them work.

Awful
Fittings and screws are poor quality & wrong size. Have to get different screws for knobs to stay on

Needs a bigger screw and modification
Reading the instructions on the bottom of the box will make you think this is simple and easy to do. Not so. As the other reviews have said the small brass wood screw is totally ineffective at securing the handle to the metal spindle. For a start it is a size 6 at least and so short it does not make any purchase into the slot on the spindle. You need to drill a 2mm hole into the slot where the handle will sit. This then needs opening out to 2.5mm. It is easy doing it my way. (Pilot hole first.) Then use the aluminium self tapping screw which is long enough to get into the slot to secure the handle to the spindle. I did not use the self tapping screws to secure the roses to the door.
