A reliable interior matt emulsion paint that is suitable for use on wall & ceiling, making it a great choice to give your home a refresh. Black is a timeless colour that will suit any interior design. Ensured to provide a long-lasting matt finish, this emulsion paint achieves a beautiful look, without compromising on quality. This 2.5L size will cover up to 30 m² on average. For top results, apply with a brush or roller. It will dry quickly between coats meaning you can recoat it in 2-4 hours. As well as looking brilliant, this water-based paint is safe for use in your home. It contains minimal VOCs and it has low odour levels, making it a safe choice for you and your environment.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly

- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening.

Not a great paint
Not a good paint, had to return. It’s very oily and watery consistency and needs lots of layers for coverage.

Is what is it
Get what you pay for I suppose was not expecting it to be Amazing for the price but real poor For what it is good job it was only to back wash my wall before I out my mural up

Scratches easily
Purchased a few weeks ago, paint has good coverage but scratches very easily as you brush past it

Good for small jobs or top ups but overall poor
very thin paint that takes several coats. Odd texture, seems to lift off paint in some areas too. Dries quickly

Awful
Horrible paint to paint with. So watery I painted over a very very light coloured wall and even though it was black I did 6 coats and still ended up buying an expensive alternative to go over it.

Not the best
Doing the second coat it would strip the original coat. Runny too. Had to go out and buy two more of Dulux paint to redo the job. Sadly

Really good paint for the price.
Coming from someone who despises painting, this paint has been the most pleasant to work with. Wanted a black to paint over a yellow/grey/white mosaic wall and only took 2 coats. First coat went on a bit thin so was sceptical at that point if this was another waste of money, however the 2nd coat covered the remainder of the old paint that was still visible and had it done in no time. Hugely impressed and will consider buying again in the future, if I ever decide to pick up another paintbrush.

Poor quality
Although we didn’t need many coats for this paint for full coverage, as everyone said it smudges easily and leaves a cast. Do not buy unless you want to keep touching up.

Watery!
Watery paint and you hardly have to brush past and you’ll be covered in black so don’t expect it to be wipeable! But you get what you pay for. I won’t be purchasing this paint again.
