Steel bar
I bought this steel bar to use in the cam clamps I’m making, works a treat (5mm thick would maybe have suited my design better but the 4mm does the job just fine).

20mm Steel bar
I bought this to make a bracket to hold a Church radiator firmly in place. With the right tools it was cut, drilled and bent. It should outlast me. Yes - it's a bit expensive but its readily availably without trailing round steel stockists. B+Q bar is the thinner part holding the wooden triangle on.
