Will work a couple of times, but then will break
If you're only smacking in one spike, this should be okay, but it's an expensive way to do just one. The base still split and got wedged on the frame, so was difficult to dislodge. Still better to use this than not use anything, but it's not a tool that you're going to be able to use again, so this is a one trick pony

Great product
Did what I wanted it to do without damaging the posts

Not robust enough
I used it to hammer Met posts into ground and it only worked for 3 before it broke up and kept getting stuck inside the Met post.

Great solution for knocking in post spikes
I was worried by the reviews for this product, but struggled to find an alternative so went for it anyway. I think they must have changed the design since those reviews as this worked really well and the plastic isn't brittle enough to shatter like in those reviews. I drove in seven 75mm diameter post spikes, with very minimal damage to the driver. I could see it continuing to work for many more.

Don't buy
Total rubbish, broke into several pieces on first use.

Tried 2 and both disintegrated.
I bought this to put 70mm met posts in, 1st one broke 1 leg on the 1st post so returned it for an exchange, the second one lasted to the 2nd post and completely disintegrated.
