Sizing is completely wrong
I am returning this product. the description says 70mm length x 70mm width. THey are in fact 70cm long, far too long for our soil, (we are into bedrock before that depth!) I am sure the product itself is fine (they seem hefty and strong) but the description is incorrect

Too big
Ridiculously too big for a simple arch in the garden. To sink them down I'd have needed to hire a JCB and the top of them were twice the size of the legs of the arch. Only purchased them because B&Q recommended them to purchase with the arch.

l got this to help put up a archway in my garden the length was a bit long for the job in hand but it still did the trick.

70mm post to big!
used with 70mm posts, was too small, had to skim each post on 2 sides to fit. Also bolt wont go through without making another hole in post. Very poor design

Poor Quality
Unable to tighten bolts without cutting the post. This is a poor quality product, stay clear.

Stay clear
Yes they keep the wood away from the damp but by the time the damp has got to your post by using just a post and concrete you will have just got the spike in the ground straight. Terrible design

the product is good
Your site says the item is 70mm in length but in fact it is 900 mm long.
