Great product
These Brass effect door knobs look great and easy to put on. Read other reviews which yes they’re from a while back but they must be talking about something else. We found them great for the price

Very very poor
Very poor all round. Packaging was very over the top for a door knob. Had to use a plier which of course caused scratches. Sizing is not correct - the spindle is for a door with a large width. On reading the very small print the box does state that you may need to cut spindle with a hacksaw…….?? Screws are terrible quality. Would’ve found more traction in a tub of butter. Don’t waste your money.

Pointless plastic packaging
Excessive plastic packaging very difficult to remove without scratching the polished metal. The plastic screws securing the door knobs to the cardboard backing didn't unscrew as they were supposed to. They had to be cut off.

Breaks easily and doesn't last
I bought 3 pairs of these about 6 months ago. One broke while I was fitting it, but luckily I had a spare lying around. Now 6 months later another one is broken so it can slide off the bracket, and the one in the bathroom is pitted/rusty.

I purchased items on a Wednesday and received 10%
I fitted door Knobs that evening Item found Faulty as friction on securing bezel was preventing latch returning. As an ex RAF Aircraft fitter IKnew that the washer behind circlip was to Thick Had I a suitable Washer and circlip Pliers I could have Fixed it: I returned item to the store and had an O K replacement only after being told it only needed WD 40 --- NOT SO/// This Was a value item and the end result was good I was charged full price for replacement
