Good light but rubbish fan

Bought this for a small back bedroom. The size is perfect, easy to install and good instructions. Feels very sturdy and well made, but the fan is absolutely terrible. Even on the fastest setting you cannot feel any air moving unless you hold your hand 3 inches away from it. It just nothing, and room it's being used in is only 2 x 2.3m so it should help to cool it down. I've checked the instructions and other support resources to make sure it's been installed correctly and it has, it's just not a very good product. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Ceiling fan

Have brought a similar product in the past which has lasted over 15 years this fan is very easy to install no problems took the old one down assembled and installed the new one in about 1 hour 30 minutes it’s nice that there is a Multi plug for the Electrics. I read one of the reviews that they didn’t know what the hook was for it is to hang the fan on while you do the Electrics or go for a coffee no problems after install works very good.

Nice budget fan

I’ve got several of these around the house and have always been pleased with them. For the modest cost they look nice and have lasted me years. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money then I’d highly recommend.

Good Value Unit Let Down by Hopeless Instructions

This unit is cheap for what you get, and it shows in the dodgy quality control (the light fitting in mine was incorrectly assembled) but most of all in the hopeless instructions. Unless you work with 3D line drawings every day of the week, you're going to make mistakes, and my guess is that the poor reviews are due to the instructions more than the product. So here's some additional tips: Note that it's easy to get things wrong as there's no error-proofing in the design. It is very easy to get things upside down or in the wrong place and not notice. I strongly recommend doing a dry run of all steps as trying to work out what's supposed to be happening when you're teetering at the top of a ladder (please don't), holding the unit with one hand, a screwdriver in another hand and using three more hands to hold and assemble screws and washers, and all in the dark because it's taken longer than you expected and you've turned the power off is rather difficult. You could easily remove the wrong two screws in the first step unless you spot that the plate is viewed from the top - the side that will be against the ceiling. With the screws that are left, use a dab of glue to hold the washers against the screw head as they will otherwise try to go the wrong side of the fitting on assembly. In attaching the plate to the ceiling, note that the slots are not actually fully accessible unless your remove the terminal block - don't do that as refixing it at ceiling height will be a pain and a half. And note that this unit has no instructions for 90% of UK ceilings - it's designed for countries where they build houses properly, not where ceilings are made from something not much stronger than flower arrangers oasis . This is a heavy bit of kit so you need to screw through the paster board or lath-and-plaster into a rafter or a hefty lump of wood above, ideally itself fixed to the rafters. The dry run is the only point where you can possibly work out what that funny little hook on the plate is for and where it goes. I would try to describe it in words but, as I never worked it out, I can't! You will also work out that the tab on the outer cone has to fit into the long slot of the inner cone to stop it rotating - it's very easy to have it drop into a screw hole instead. And you will discover that the L shape slots have been bent in manufacturing so that you can't assemble it until you're made them follow the curve properly. When assembling the blades, I recommend putting a Post-It note or piece of insulating tape on the top surface as it's too easy to fit the blade to the unit upside down - do that and you'll never get it to balance. Take the marker off after assembly. Talking of balance, I suggest checking out YouTube videos to see how to stop the thing jumping about - but not the ones done by enthusiastic idiots; use one of the manufacturer ones. Mine required two 3g weights on one blade - one at the end and one half way up - to get it spinning smoothly so it can be a bit of a tedious process. At the end of all that, you'll have a good night's sleep as the quiet fan keeps you nice and cool for a tiny fraction of the cost of A/C and a half or a third of other fan units. But you'll need that sleep to recover from the stress of trying to understand the intructions.

Not quite long enough

Fitted the fan and sadly it’s not quite long enough, the blades keep catching on ceiling blinds. Are you able to purchase an extension pole or smaller blades for this product??

Déçu de Castorama

J’ai acheté deux articles aujourd’hui et à mon avis les deux étaient des retours clients fils débranché ou même coupe du schot et globe cassé
