Robledo - 5 / 5 - 29/03/2023

The product was exactly what I needed

Fitted superbly to the newly altered door arrangement

Not happy again 2023 - 1 / 5 - 26/03/2023

Absolutely terrible!

These have to be the worst hinges and screws I have ever used. B&Q should be embarrassed selling these. The hinges are like tin foil, the screws sheer at the heads when tightened and cost me time and money. Shocking quality and should definitely be avoided. Rubbish!

Product is just what was required

I brought these to replace some old tired looking hinges around my house, they fitted great and change the complexion of the room

Dr jotty - 2 / 5 - 13/10/2022

Not the best made.

Cheap but a bit loose and I needed to clamp them in a vice ro get them to close flat as they held the door out a bit otherwise. Not very good. Also the screws snapped as per other reviews. Best avoided if I am honest.

Not in use - 2 / 5 - 12/10/2022

Not good quality

I wish I got better ones even if it cost a bit more there made cheap

Chrome-plated Metal Butt Door hinge + Screws

If it is about the hinges alone, they are acceptable for light use only and I would have scored them with 3 or 4 stars. Only 1 hinge out of 6 had some minor cosmetic blemish as can be seen from photo 1 but it was usable. The serious problem was with the provided weak screws. Screws snap at the slightest bit of torque, and it could cause a big problem. When the head breaks off leaving the shaft buried inside the door and ultimately ruining the door edge, it will take time, effort and other material such as drilling bits, wood filler, repainting to clear the door edge from the stuck broken screws. Photo 4 shows some snapped screw heads, a broken drill bit and a shiny deceiving new free screw. I really don't know what went in their minds when manufacturing such bad screws and for what reason! These screws are not fit for purpose and should be removed from the pack immediately.

This Product is ok

The Hinges are ok for light cupboards or doors and I would recommend that anyone use multiple on any door being hung

DIY5050 - 2 / 5 - 08/06/2022

Disappointing

The hinges are what they are and look ok for the money. Do NOT use the screws supplied . They are too weak and snap readily. Use your own.

AVOID

AVOID!! The screws are made of liquirice ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH

Kevva123 - 1 / 5 - 05/04/2022

Absolute rubbish

The worst screws I've ever used 2 of the heads came off leaving the screw thread inside the door frame so I've got to drill them out,The screw heads never went into the counter sink of the hinge the head was to big and also the head threaded,Cheap and nasty, caused more problems than anything...
