So much better than old style polystyrene
So much better than the old style polystyrene ceiling roses. Still very light, but much more solid, sturdy and very smooth. They are probably a bit more expensive. But once up you will realise it was worth it. They look so much more like a plaster rose, but without the ridiculous weight.

Perfect and not too ornate
Easy to install, just glued it to the ceiling after removing light rose, making cables safe and pushing into cavity

Doesn’t fit in place of plastic rose!
Having drilled it and dismantled my light fitting I found (as have other reviewers) that this does not fit if you have the modern plastic ceiling rose already. Wish I’d read reviews first and not seen and bought in store! It never crossed my mind that they’d sell an item that clearly has very specific fit without mentioning it on the box. Very disappointed

Absolutely useless
Not designed for uk - as a previous reviewer said, there is not enough recess for the plastic electric rose to fit in. I don't know how the other reviewers fitted them, i can only guess they cut out a large hole for the electric rose to show through, which desperately i did after realising it wouldn't fit over the electric rose but it looks rubbish. The instructions on the box are wrong and misleading. DO NOT BUY.

Does the job
Brought this for my daughters room as wanted a hanging pendant light rather than the one already fitted. Removing the old light fitting revealed a bigger hole in the ceiling than standard light pendant fixture. This covered it up very nicely. Good value for money and looks nice too. Simple and modern.
