Very misleading, no locking mechanism
Should have read the reviews first. Assumed I was getting a locking bathroom door handle. It isn't! No idea how it would work. Also has to wrevk the packaging to get it out so it's going to be fun returning it.

Rubbish do not buy
I bought this item from my local B@Q store last weekend as a replacement. Firstly there aren't any fitting instructions that come with this product let alone any indication that you have to buy a separate lock. Do not buy this item as a straight replacement as it will not work. I spent a long time trying to figure out how this product locks only to find out it doesn't.

Not a bathroom lock
This is not a bathroom handle lock and is a just a useless handle the lock just turns there is no mechanisms it is a misssale

It's not a lock
Despite appearances, this does not actually lock the handle. It's got the barrel but no mechanism behind it.

Looks very good, but is useless without the lock m
I bought this product to match other door handles i have replsced on the bedrooms, however, after battling to get it free from the packaging, i discovered that there was no way the lock could possibly operate without any mechanism being present. The lock turn is just left 'floating'.

Doesn't actually contain any locking options.
Bought to replace a handle with built-in locking mechanism (ostensibly the same layout as this handle) but there's nothing linking the locking spindle to the handle. One star so people reading will be aware of this - probably fine if you have a full-height mortised closure with a built in bolt which accepts the square spindle, which most modern houses don't.

Looks good but no locking mechanism inside
I purchased , as you can see from my order , the latch fitting also but although there is a knob to lock the door with there is NO internal bit to enable it to lock ?
