This Black matt chalkboard paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply with a brush or roller and leave for 4 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 12m² per litre on average.

Only type of black paint available
I wasn’t intending to buy this product as I imagined it to be a dull finish which I didn’t want for a frame but as it was only black available out of all the makes I purchased it. I’m happy with product but can’t compare to other makes as b and q spalding didn’t have any others.

Easy to use
Bought blackboard paint to re-cover boards used for marketing at the pub. Product was easy to use, had a great finish and was easy to clean from rollers after use.

Good coverage
Very good coverage, didn't try yet to write and clean on it but I didn't really buy it for that purpose anyway.

Fantastic
I bought this to use on skirting boards it is absolutely brilliant and a lot cheaper than other black matt paint!! ( I also used rust-oleum sealer on top)

Good coverage
Really thick and gives good coverage. Too porous for Posca chalk pens if you use it on wood, as they don’t wipe clean. But using standards chalk works well. Nice smooth finish.

Always wanted a black wall!!!
Great product!! Went up really well. I probably did not need a 2nd coat did anyway. I did not need 1l off it, I used less than half but I might do another wall
