Seat wouldn’t stay up
Even though the dimensions for our toilet the lid would not stay up even though we had the seat as far forward as it would go.

Highly recommend!
Bought this to replace old one. Lot easier to fit. Does not slide on pan, comfortable and closes quietly. All in all a great buy!

Working well so far
Fitted this apparently sturdy product last month and it has worked well in the initial weeks. The soft close is quite gentle and easy to override by hand without much force. It was pretty easy to fit to a 1950's toilet and seems to be holding firm probably due to it cone shaped washers. Like a lot of modern seats it can be quite cold initially but warms up quickly!

Good value for money toilet seat
I bought the toilet seat because it was a soft close seat and at the price shown it was good value for money. I would definitely recommend this product.

Really easy to install, but top lid has lost its soft close. Only have it for less than a month
