Looks great, flushes brilliantly
I installed this WC myself as an experienced 73yr old DIYer. It was very helpful to watch B&Q's video on how to install a WC first. I didn't have any problems apart from having to remove a bit more of the infill from the previous WC than I had hoped. It works much better than the previous RAK 600 WC, better flush and keeps cleaner. Also it doesn't splash. The seat, although not as wide a rim as some WC's is very comfortable and smooth in operation. It took me two days to strip out the old WC and install this one. It was worth the effort. Very pleased and the price and delivery were good too.

Good looking but poor quality
It's a good looking toilet but poor quality, for this price I would expect better part matching, as cistern and lid does have imperfections. It took a while to assemble it and connect everything, was hard to connect water inlet when toilet was in place

Poor Quality
Nice looking toilet, but for the cost, very poor quality. The cisterns have very little quality control in casting, i ended up having 3 delivered to try and get a straight edged one (front or back), but all 3 had issues, I ended up picking the best of a bad bunch. Not very impressed at all considering the cost.

LOVLEY BUT INSTALLATION MIGHT BE TRICKY...
Nice new loo - Good quality, soft close seat and looks great however trickier to install than it should have been. If your soil connection is straight back as mine is then obviously you'll need to slide the assembled loo straight backwards to engage with the pan connector BUT the floor mounting clips you have to bolt to the floor first hit some internal ceramic fins. The only way is to lift the loo over them first - but by then there is no slide movement left. In the end I cut back the rigid pan connector almost to the wall and bought a flexible connector which had just enough play in it to allow the movement required. I read in another review how tricky the fully enclosed version of this loo is to install - thank goodness I did as I truly don't know how I would have managed without a view of what was happening and hand access. If your soil pipe goes sideways I guess it would be easy enough to fit the pipe first before dropping the loo & pipe over the floor clips.

Some Issues
Bought the model with the cut-out at the side. Probably wouldn't have been able to install the fully enclosed one. Even so virtually no access to the bottom of the filler pipe and the usual worries about how tight to fit the connector to same. Cistern lid rocks doesn't fit flat and the glaze of the ceramic isn't complete so raw material shows through the gap between lid and cistern body. Flushing unit instructions fail to mention the fat ribbed rubber washer that comes on the bottom of it. I used it as otherwise the cistern would probably have leaked but still not impressed it isn't shown in the drawings. Pan hold down fittings adequate but only just. Overall I don't see how this toilet is worth twice as much as the ones I have fitted previously. And don't get me started on the design and quality of water fittings and the endless leaks and torque worries.

Poor quality fixings
Bought this for a customer as specified by them. Must say very disapointed. Floor fixings were poor quality, the caps to cover the screws were not as good as many of the Cooke and Lewis cheaper toilets. Internal workings of the cistern etc seemed cheap quality. For a toilet costing nearly £300 I would expect top quality. This was not. On top of this the unit I received was filthy dirty. I spent a good 20 minutes cleaning it before I could fit it. not very pleased st all.

Very well made and packed. Good delivery company.
It's been in place for a week now and we are very pleased. Looking to buy another one for the en suite.

The 21st century has arrived in the smallest room
Having taken equity release I am suddenly "cash rich" and have had both bathrooms refurbished. one is complete and in full use. This toilet looks really good. Is comfortable and the 'soft closure' amazingly easy to get used to.
