This Cooke & Lewis Helena white toilet seat features a soft close function, meaning that it will close slowly and quietly when put down. The seat is made from plastic.
- Only fixings included
- Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth, using just soap & water, taking care to dry hinges thoroughly. Never use scourers or abrasives as these will damage the product surface, ensure seat & lid are raised when using bleach in bowl
- Compatible with Compatible with Helena toilet - To ensure the perfect fit, use the hinges supplied with the new seat: reusing existing hinges may result in a poor fit.

Does not fit Helena Toilet Bowl!
Ordered this seat as advertised on B&Q web site as a Helena Soft Close Toilet Seat. This seat is not suitable for the Cooke & Lewis Helena Toilet Bowl as it is too short and the style is nothing like the original seat & lid. Had to return to B&Q for a refund.

Specification wrong Cook & Lewis Helena Toilet sea
Do not buy This does not fit ,it is too short by approximately 40mm. I purchased this as a replacement for a Helena toilet seat that had discoloured. I have three of these that were fitted by B&Q for my bathroom/ensuite/toilet one of which I changed several years ago with no problem something has changed,the product does not have the correct specification I have had to return the item I bought . Can someone inform me when this product will be corrected so I can order the correct seat?

Such a disappointment
Bought this to match the toilet which is in a sealed unit. The seat has come loose and is wobbling everywhere and is completely unfit for purpose, soft close doesn’t work anymore either. Completely unfit for purpose. B&Q provide no other alternative. I have written to complain and received no reply! How many times will I have to pay 60 pounds to replace it! I’ve bought a kitchen and a bathroom from B&Q. This seat has made me ashamed to show off my new home, having spent many thousands of pounds. I couldn’t be more disappointed

Does not fit
Do not buy this, it's titled as a replacement for a Helena toilet but it doesn't fit the existing Helena toilet we have!

Absolutely rubbish, poor quality,
I had my bathroom decorated only a year ago! Toilet seat went with the chosen toilet. It has come lose and needs replacing, already, bits fell down the toilet, soft close no longer works. Can I replace with another one, I doubt it as the toilet is enclosed. Replacing the toilet seat won’t be easy!! Saved hard for my bathroom and left disappointed! I strongly advise not buying this piece of rubbish

Avoid
Had for over a year. One cap fell off after a few months and ended up in the toilet. Hard to get boys pee stains off the fabric of the toilet seat, even with bleach. Avoid.

Don’t buy
Absolutely rubbish, had a new toilet fitted and unfortunately picked this seat ! Soft close lasted 6 month at the most. Top shine finish worn of some of toilet seat so looks awful. Caps came off and fell down toilet. Not worth 9.99 never mind it’s price ! Awful !!

Absolute rubbish
Never given a review in my life but this toilet seatvis absolutely rubbish. The underside stains very easily, never has this happened to any other seat I've purchased. The caps keep falling in the toilet so 1 missing now and the soft close function failed in about 7 mths..problem is this is the only toilet sear that will fit, so I HAVE to purchase another under duress

Poor quality
It’s not 2 years old and like others the end caps fell off and now the shaft close has stopped working. It would be good to know if you can repair the soft close?
