Flimsy

It’s awful. So flimsy, very thin plastic. It won’t stay in place properly. Don’t buy it

It’s okay

It’s okay, as compare with price. You need to cut it to adjust the size as it doesn’t fit with the bath tub & you also need clip to attach the panel with the tub.

Terrible

Don’t waste your money on this rubbish, the slightest touch and bends, not enough material at the top to lock it in place under the lip on the bath,b and q shouldn’t be selling absolute rubbish like this

Not recommended

This product is poor quality and flimsy. You would need to see and examine it before buying. Not recommended by me.

Not high enough for the Shaftesbury baths

Even with a low profile trap that is touching the floor, this panel is around 40mm too shallow top to bottom to fit the Shaftesbury baths that it is supposedly made for. The only way to make this fit is to either raise the rest of the floor, or remove sections of floorboards so that you can lover the bath to a sutable level. They haven't thought it through and it was the last part of our bathroom to go in, and we were out of the return period. The gloss finish is nice enough, but the white is slightly different to the white of the Shaftesbury baths, this panel has a very slight greyish hue to it. The kit comes with a bag of brackets and screws, but no instructions and it is not immediately obvious what else you need to fit the panel or indeed where the brackets go or which way round etc. I'm sure it's easy enough if you've done it before, but I hadn't.

Looks good once fitted

I bought this along with the Shaftsbury bath. It's very flimsy and also doesn't actually attach to the bath according to the instructions. After some makeshift attachments and some fettling it looks really good when fitted.

Wouldnt buy again!!

Bought the 1600 bath and ordered the end and side panel at the same time. The bath took 2 hours to transport to the bathroom, level up, fit the tap, connect the water and drain. It took over 2.5 hrs to install the panels. The tops tuck in but the gap on the bath is wider than the panels so they needed packing out. The bath was slightly higher after levelling and even with a baton attached to the floor for fixing the side panel was so 'floppy' that if the panel was on the floor the top was to slack and if we raised it to attach to the baton it bent in the middle. The bottom of the panel has a lip we had to remove To sit flush to the baton. The side panel does not fit well on the end panel when overlapped around the corner. All in all an installation nightmare. Even now i am considering removing the panels and installing a frame and tiling it as the panels look awful and will be difficult to remove for maintenance. Good point = 'cheap' Bad point = Why bother. Spend a bit more and save yourself the hassle!

delivery issues

First 2 baths were damaged - this wasn't discovered until the first one was in my home and the second bath was on the delivery van, obviously the warehouse staff did not check the items before loading this was very annoying and disappointing as i had to take time off work 3 times for the delivery. The bath is fine but i was worried that maybe it wasn't good quality if so many of them were damaged!
