This ledged and braced door is supplied with loose pinned timber braces, this allows for appropriate fixing depending if you are fitting the hinges to the left or right hand side of the door. This door is finished with white oak veneer for a striking appearance & can be used in a variety of applications including as an entrance door for an outbuilding or side entrance gate.

warning....very thin oak veneer
Bought two of these with water stain damage. Informed by b & q assistant that the staining would sand out! These were described as external doors so I was very surprised when I got them home and sanded straight through the oak veneer. Veneer was only 1mm thick!! What a total waste of money and very disappointed as they do look good. As a side note, please be warned that the manufacturers instructions stipulate only 6mm can be trimmed from the top and base and 3mm from the sides. These tolerances can be inadequate when fitting the doors in old houses with none square door frame.
