Product information
You can apply this complete wood treatment from the Cuprinol 5 star range to , using a brush, to provide protection. It takes 1-3 days to dry and will cover up to 5m² per litre on average.
- Eradication of woodworm and prevention of woodworm, wet and dry rot attack
- After use, remove as much product as possible from equipment before cleaning with water. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature.

Quite expensive but if it's as good as it states it will be money well spent

Covered the House in it
We bought 3 of these and covered all the beams and joists in the house with this stuff as preventative treatment. It doesnt smell much and is easy to apply.

Been using this for years
I've been using this stuff for years. Slosh it on infected woodwork and it usually stops any firther problems.

Very practical
Easy to apply, not unpleasant to use and much cheaper than bringing someone in to treat infestations. Protection against wet rot a bonus that will be hard to evidence effectiveness but put on some vulnerable beam ends and feel bit safer

Does what it says on the label
Dismantled an 8ft x 6ft garden shed, moved and re-erected it. Noticed some woodworm so decided to treat the inside while it was still empty. Use most of 5 litre can to cover inside roof, walls and floor. Hoping the shed outlives us as this is an expensive product.

Not really an exterior treatment
Used this on my garden summerhouse. I was going to give it a couple of coats of wood preserver but because I'd seen a small amount of woodworm bought this more expensive product instead. It was only when I'd put it on and checked to see how to clean the brushes that I noticed the small print saying that if it was used on an exterior surface it needed overpainting or overstaining. I didn't want to do either of these. I hadn't realised it wasn't up to the task of exterior protection by itself. I think Cuprinol needs to make this fact clearer on the front of the tin.

Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment 5 L
Bought several tins - very easy to apply with brush as preventative measure but also defrassed ( hardened off ) recently woodworm affected timber. Good product . Cuprinol Woodworm Killer ( same range ) hardens off a little more quickly . No undue discolouring of wood .
