Not bad
To get a good colour with this product you need to apply 3 coats. Lasts for a few years. Be careful cleaning it as I had some moss traces on my decking and had the bright idea of using the pressure washer to clean it. Big mistake, took out chunks of the stain. My decking looked like it had measles. At that point it is best to blast all of it off and start again. I didn't and it took another three coats to make it look decent again.

Revived our decking
Got this to try to breathe some life into our very old decking. It's totally transformed it ( needed two coats) and made it look like nearly new.

Perfect for our decking

Poor coverage, poor longevity, nice colour
The coverage listed on the tin is a complete fantasy. They state 20m² with two coats. My deck is about 18m², and I've needed 2 tins for one coat! This means coverage is about 25% of the given value. Make sure you buy at least double what you think you need! I do love the colour which is why we're giving Cuprinol a second chance and taking more care to let it dry after jet washing, and between each coat - I did two coats on the deck 2 years ago and all the stain had almost entirely worn away within 18months back to bare wood. Will try 3 coats this time so it had better last considering it's going to cost 4 times original estimate due to diabolical coverage.

This is a fantastic product and if you are applying to an existing decking you must throughly clean it before applying it. I found it covered really well with a decking painting sponge . I highly recommend this and the colour looks great

Not good for my deck
First Bought this about 5 years ago, every year some bits flake and come off and it looks awful. I have to reapply every year and it gets darker and darker. When I have time I will try and take it all off and use something else. I was very careful with the first application and did everything by the book. To me It's more like a paint than a stain I wouldn't use it your deck gets rather wet.

Covers well!
Have applied this to my existing decking and it covered the old colour very well. The non slip element works well and due to the good weather has had quite a bit of footfall already. Very happy with product!
