Great colour
Bought this paint to repaint my garden bench. Took 4 coats to acheve a satisfactory finnish.

Good but expensive
It doesn't dry to the colour of the swatch on the tin, unfortunately. It's almost royal blue. Takes 2-3 coats on bare wood. Easy to wash off brushes. Touch proof quite quickly, but took 2-3 days for my bench to be dry enough to sit on.

Renovation
Great stuff. My wife painted old wooden garden chair, and it has come up as good as new!

Lovely colours - shame about the quality
We purchased this paint for a new summerhouse. We were very disappointed. The paint is very thin and watery and so far we are on our 4th coat and it will probably need a 5th. It is not particularly cheap and therefore do not consider it to be good value for money. Would not recommend this paint and when we need to re-paint in the future will look for an alternative brand.

Fabulous colour !!!
This is the most amazing Greek blue colour. Think of those post cards from the island of Santorini and that's the colour of this remarkable paint. It's nothing like the picture on the front of the tin and the name Barleywood is totally misleading too. Everybody loves my garden door now. It looks especially lovely against a white wall and the coverage is fantastic. I have a notion that this particular shade will be discontinued so stock up now. It has brought sunshine into my garden and makes everybody think of holidays. If Mr. Cuprinol reads this PLEASE keep making it!!!

A Good Purchase
Wanted to brighten up my old fencing and liked this colour (There is a good choice of colours in the range) The paint covers well and although it did need two coats to cover properly (it was an old fence) it really looks good now. Easy to paint on, I used a large brush and I am pleased with the job. Brushes rinse out easily.

Tardis
When we bought our new house it came with three sheds. Two were painted reddish brown, one was green. We wanted to add our own style so decided we'd paint them Blue, Orange and Cream using Cuprinol shades. We painted the largest shed in this shade of blue and it looks brilliant, it's pretty much the same colour as Doctor Who's Tardis. Very easy to apply, went over the existing colour (red) very easily, we used three coats but it did cover well after just two. The great thing about this product is that you can still see the grain of the wood. It made a tired looking shed look modern and new.
