Impossible to work out how to programme this timer. The instructions are terrible. A waste of money!
Nearly impossible to set up

I had a mechanical timer for years wi5th no trouble, but it got damaged during a move, I thought I would get modern with an electronic timer, which as far as I am concerned is not fit for purpose
Good product but .....

Once set up this seems a good product at this early stage. However it took me about an hour to set up, the instructions are very poor seems to be a step missing to prevent auto switching from on to off being reversed. Eventually overcame this but esetting several times and starting again.
The main reason for the instructions seeming poor is that the device is complicated; it is a digital 7 day timer with different programs setable for each day. There are then 10 separate programs for each day ! Who on earth needs a total maximum of 70 programs. True you can have one programme for each day and use that same programme for every day. But this all has to be set up ! If I had not set up a similar unit a month ago, setting up this unit would have taken several frustrating hours.
We were all subjected to similar problems several years ago with Japanese TV remote controls. Just too complicated when most people need just basic functions. This timer is the same - just too complex.
Confucius he say KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid. That way you sell more items to ordinary people rather than just the type of boffin that designed the device - showing howclever he was. Most people want to set up and change quickly, if necessary, when the instructions are gone !
thought it was me looking @the reviews it useless

Spent several hours trying to work this out, it shows, you get what you pay for , no instructions, buttons labels incorrectly on plug, they do more than 1 thing
Terrible !! impossible to set the timer

Over complicated and there were no instructions with it! could only find manual online if I paid for it! nothing on the B+Q site in the way of a manual either. You need a phd in computer programming to get this thing to work - stupid design and over priced.
