Timer sales
Have to my cost bought some cheaper timers .Decided to purchase a few of these to see how they perform must admit quite pleased with the results would not hesitate to recommend them,they are accurate and do the job really well

Don't buy a waste of money
I bought this over Christmas to time lights on/off and could not get it to work. Faulty product.

Mechanical Time Clock
Very good product but stopped working properly after a few months. The lever or the switch mechanism seems to jam I keep having to buy a replacement as, apart from this bug, it is very good.

Possible fire risk
Bought this last Christmas and it has worked OK but yesterday when I removed it from a socket I discovered an unacceptable hot spot on the casing which I considered a fire risk. At the time there was no load current so the hot spot was down to the electronics inside - electronics should not operate so hot that they can burn a finger

Great value - easy to use
I wanted to set up lights at “going to bed” time, in my bedroom for when I was away on holiday. These were very straightforward to use and set. Worked perfectly and gave peace of mind. Thank you.,

Fire Hazard
Do not use this product on emersion heaters or boilers as the only warning is inside the vacuum sealing and not on the outside packaging in full view.

Do not purchase
Do not purchase this product if you require timing of emersion heaters or boilers. No way does it give you a warning on the outer packaging only on a concealed instruction leaflet inside the vacuum sealing. This could cause a fire hazard if just plugged in an airing cupboard by an amateur do it yourselfer. This should be highly visible on the outer packaging. Beware of all of these Diall timers unless you can consult a qualified electrician. Will not bother to return to B & Q as it will come in handy for our hall lighting when on holiday.
