Power Cut Special
My search is over. No multi-modes you have to go through. No brilliant flash of 2 hour battery life. When life is pitch black, and you can't see a thing, this torch is your best friend for 16 HOURS! On winter evening dog walk poop duty, Months of walks off the one set of batteries. Build quality is wanting. The switch on mine started playing up after say 200 uses. But my response has been to buy four more in case they go off sale. I hope this torch inspires more low power, mega endurance designs. .

Diall LED Torch
For the money I was pleasantly surprised by the light output compared to some more expensive torches I have owned. It takes the popular AA batteries.

Handy little pocket torch
I like the torch BUT sometimes when I put new batteries in I have difficulty getting it to switch on. I wonder if this is because there is too much room in the casing that the batteries do not align properly. I had this trouble with one I bought before so I recycled it. However, I need one this size. Maybe you could supply a better made one this size.
