Perfect for what it is.
Perfect for what it is. Reasonable price for just empty IP55 box.

Its just a box.
I believed this to be a 'Junction Box'. It has no connectors in it so its just a box. There's no way of sealing the cables so its a useless box at that.

Simple construction - awful screws
Like others, despite widening the screw holes with a drill, I still managed to round the head off one of the screws when screwing the fascia on. I didn't even manage to get the box to seal before the head of the screw came off and so now I have to take the box off and re-gland 4 entry points. Utter junk.

Great little junction box
Bought 7 of these last month were really useful junction boxes.

A very tough box
This is a very tough box, so strong I found it impossible to knock the knockouts out and they had to be drilled out with a hole cutter. I found this box to be cheaper at B&Q than any on the internet but if you don't have access to hole cutters you may struggle. (I am electrician with 40 years experience )

Screws for lid are very poor in every respect
2 out of the 4 screws snapped when fitting the lid, the other two will be a pain for the next person to undo - the slots are soft. Also - how can a plastic box containing nothing be rated to 30 A/240 V ? These are really cheap boxes. Unfortunately I bought 2 boxes so used the screws from the second box - anyone want a box with a loose lid ?
