Perfect for the job.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a perfect deck screw. I’ve used them for the brand new decking I built in my back garden and also used them to construct a new log store. They are very sturdy and easy to screw in. They are also very cosy effective for big jobs.

Useless, no good for decking
Useless, no good for decking The problem with these screws is the diameter of the head which is undersized compared to all the other 4mm dia (non Decking) screws and also the other supplier equivalent deck screw. When you screw these into the wood the head just disappears and buries itself so you cant get it tight. Even if you use a cup washer #8 for a 4mm screw it just blasts through that too.The other store version does not do this and generates decent clamping force. B&Q would not give refund because i had open'd the plastic box! So be warned dont get these, waste of money, may as well bin them.
