Pleasantly surprised
I was sceptical that this light would actually be that bright, with a warm white output having been had before with other LEDs that promise but fail to deliver. But this bulb does what it says on the tin, with a bright light and a decent colour rendition of 2700 Kelvin. Plus you get 2 for the same price as others charge for 1 PAR38 bulb, and it's a perfect fir to replace the old CFL and incandescent bulbs that preceded it in this old fitting. I was just about to replace the fitting with something smaller using more common bulbs, which would be a pain in the neck as removing it would leave a great big hole in the plasterboard ceiling that would need masking off, but this bulb saved the day as a direct replacement for the old bulb.
