Pose pas évidente.

Pas facile à installer. Notice d'installation très peu précise.

It fits, but not as you expect

Like others, I presumed that the fitting would be straight forward . . . err maybe not. After much head scratching, and a cup of tea, thought I would follow the guide, so . . . Cut to length Offered up to door so touching floor Marked a pencil line across the top part Offered up the brackets, but bringing them about 1mm to 2mm further down on the line, marked with felt tip, where the screws need to go With a drill, made a very small hole as a guide, as screws are self-tap Screwed metal brackets (weird angle bit facing up and with countersunk screw part facing in, so bracket stands proud of door), don't screw up tight, but just firm so that bracket don't turn Bend top part of all 4 brackets slightly out using screwdriver Position brush strip above all 4 brackets so that top part of brackets is now inside metal part of brush strip, and now push down, it now clips into place Oh, and don't worry about the sticky strip, leave covered with protective strip, it actually helps to cushion the top part against the door so it kind of looks flush. Yes I know, it looks as though it shouldn't , but it does work. The only tweaks I did was to bend the bracket more straight at the top so it goes more inside the metal part, and to bend the bracket at the bottom (near screw), so that it is more flush with the door as the bracket is angled out when clipped in. Must admit, I could have removed and repositioned screws as brush strip is not touching floor, but having removing a previously stick-on one that was scraping the wooden floor and was coming off, together with paint now coming off door where it was coming unstuck, you know what, it's covered everything up and looks ok, so job done. In conclusion, yes instructions could definitely have been better, also a better diagram of how brackets work and fit, would have saved much head scratching, but in fairness, it does look good when fitted.

Awful product

Bought this today and began to regret after I had tried to fix it based on the instructions. The screws for the fixings are extremely poor quality and the instructions for the fixings are non existent. I’ve fitted it but I’m not convinced it will last.

A very poorly designed product

I bought this two days ago, opened the packaging recently and discovered that the draft excluder appears to be poorly designed and that the fitting instructions are very unclear. The clips that are supposed to hold the draft excluder in place do not fit into the slot into which it appears they should be located. Given that I have opened the packaging, I cannot take the product back and am now trying to fabricate bespoke clips to fix the excluder to the door. A very poor product design.

Good product overall

Pretty easy to install, be careful on doors with a cavity as the screws will not hold it that well. Works well at keeping draughts out, and looks surprisingly good for the price.

Rubbish product

Bought this today and followed fitting instructions and still a gap at bottom of door. Not worth it and now I've got to do a 20 mile round trip to return it. Don't buy it is my advice and B&Q should be ashamed of themselves for continuing selling it after reading much older reviews

avoid, buy something else

I wasted nearly two hours trying to work out how the brackets attached to the draught excluder. They don't. Unfortunately I had cut to size before I realised the fault. I've had to drill holes to fix to the door.

teddyh13su - 1 / 5 - 12/04/2022

not fixable

the brackets are not ment for the product so dont buy it

Timbo123456789 - 1 / 5 - 30/11/2021

Awful

Comes with completely useless little clips. Excluder keeps popping off. After an hour I had to drill the metal rail and face fix to the door. Hopeless
