Conservatory heating replacement

Conservatory heater stopped working. After 15 years it hasn't done bad. This was all there was on the shelves which is a shame there wasn't more choice in store. Didn't have time to order to collect later. Took a risk Easy to install. Hearts up quickly, warmed the conservatory easily. So far so good. You couldn't just turn it on, you do need the manual to work out how to use it

great heater

i live in a cottage in the middle of the countryside. no insulation so these have to work. since putting them on our cottage has never felt warmer. simple but effective. can’t understand why they have had such low scores . worth the money.

Rubbish! Not even worth one star!

Don't waste your money! Not heating the room even working non stop for 6 hrs on the max 29 degrees. Waste .

Not a Long Term purchase ... as they fail

The 1st one was installed October 2017 it lasted 4 years before it died. The 2nd one was bought Oct 2021 and has just died. On the whole it didn't seem as efficient/effective requiring I higher heat setting. Luckily it has a 1 year guarantee and I just squeak in by a week!

Not a plugged item

Bought this heater as a plug and leave item However the installation instructions specifically say DO NOT USE A PLUG It has to be hard wired. This needs to be made clear because I would not have purchased them for all my rooms if this had been said in the details online

Not the best

I bought this heater for use in my now converted garage/mancave. The heater itself looks great, is very well made and is very user friendly, however I found that it takes far too long to heat up the room to a comfortable standard. A friend of mine has an electric fan heater that has the same power output rating as this panel heater yet the fan heater gives of more heat and is far quicker doing so. Back to the drawing board.

Clicking noise- highly annoying!

I bought this heater which looks nice however whenever it turns on or turns off I can hear a clicking or loud pop. I thought this would go after using it for a few weeks but it’s still there. Very annoying when trying to sleep

Poor heating

I bought 3 x Dillam radiant panel heaters today at a local b&q store. I purchased 2 x 1000w heater & 1 x 1500w heater to be used in our static caravan bedrooms. Using a digital temperature meter in our small 6m2 bedroom i took the temperature readings before switching the panel heating on. Without the Heater on, the room was 14.5 degrees celsius. After switching the 1500w heater on with the thermostat set to 30 degrees celsius i waited approx 1 hour 30 minutes before checking the room temperature again and was shocked to see it was only 15.2 degrees celsius!!! very poor, in a hour and half the heater struggled to raise the temperature by 1 degree. I will be returning them tomorrow!

Great value

I'd started replacing heaters in my home with " Best electric " which are not cheap!. Useless!!. Took a gamble and tried these! So far fantastic! A little slow to heat ( max 5 mins) but no big deal. I now have 4. Great value.
