Great at Covering Dark Painted Walls
I bought this product as we've just moved into a new house with very dark painted walls, and ceilings. It did a fantastic job of sealing the dark colour so I could repaint the wall with a light coloured paint. Yes it is expensive, but it does the job.

Best base coat by far!
Best base coat by far! We tried other brands and this was definitely the best. Went on to new plaster like a treat…5 stars. Other brands we tried were awful in comparison!

Base coat
Performed well - did require two coats to cover original dark paint covered wall. However, I was anticipating this and purchased the larger size as a result.

The best base coat I've ever used.
Took me years to find this and I won't ever use anything else. It's nice and thick, paints large areas well, and really does what it says. It's more than a 3 in 1 for me. Use it as a base coat on top of fresh plaster, or old paint, or use it as a primer and main coat if you wany a nice white. It's great.

Brilliant coverage
I bought this to cover a really dark green on the walls. 4 coats have covered it beautifully. Worth the money!

No better than ordinary undercoat
This product is advertised as an undercoat for problem surfaces, but it did not solve our problem at all. We had poor paint adhesion in a downstairs loo. There is no damp and surface was sanded and clean. We prepped surface properly and applied 3 (not too thick) undercoats. Topcoat still wouldn’t adhere - bubbles appeared indicating non-adhesion to undercoat. Finish no better than basic undercoat product tried previously. Disappointing.

Good product but not cheap.
I had to cover a black wall. The paint is very thick but covered well I found if I cut all the wall in first then left it for half hour then finish off rollering it if not it will drag the paint as it goes off very quickly. 2 coats and it completely cover the jet black wall from previous.

Overpriced but works
I wanted to cover my bedroom wall that was previously painted with Dulux Easycare Sapphire salute Matt washable and tough. I didn’t to sand, I just dedusted and washed the wall with gentle soap let it dry and with two coats of 3in1 - the blue was gone. In fact even 1 coat did amazing job but I wanted to then use a mellow mocha so wanted the base to be as white as possible. The paint was quite thick and gloopy so I watered it down a bit with water, not too much cause i didn’t want it to lose effect… I am going to paint over an orange copper blush next with the leftover
