This Chic shadow gloss wood & metal paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply 2 coats with a brush and leave for 6 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers 16 m² per litre on average.

Fantastic paint
This is the best gloss I’ve ever used. It glides on, no runs or marks, has a beautiful sheen and no odour. The tin is small but to gloss all my kitchen, only used half a tin!So much so I’m glossing other projects as this paint made it so easy!

Absolutely shocking- DO NOT waste your money.
I loved the colour of this paint for whay we needed it for. But..... Once its dried, that's when the problem starts. used frog tape on the wall so the grey gloss didn't touch the wall. Once dried, removed the frog tape, along with half of the grey gloss! It's literally peeled off!

Very Disappointing
We wanted the colour. I wasn’t happy it was only available as a water based gloss as I have found them very disappointing in the past. I should have went with my first instinct…..finish isnt very glossy, even after 2 coats coverage of the lighter base colour isnt good and if you use masking tape lumps of the paint come away with the tape. No more water based paints for me.

Do not buy this paint
These water based paints are rubbish poor finish even after 3 coats no sheen uneven finish scratches and marks easy used it with quality new brushes on well prepared surface. If after reading this review you are tempted to use the Valspar one don't it's even worse

absolutely love this paint.
gloss is not my favourite thing to paint but this goes on so easily and quickly and evenly. the colour is beautiful too. a very striking difference to the usual boring white. used it on our hall window frame and sill and two internal doors.

Lovely paint!
I bought this the other day to repaint a black wooden unit. The difference it has made. Took several coats and you have to wait for it to completely dry or it will peel away like pva glue on your hands. It’s perfect! One pot was enough with a little left over.

poor quality
Very thin paint and needs couple of coats. I bought this last month and used it on my interior doors it looks nice but comes off very easily.
