This matt emulsion paint from the Dulux Easycare range is the perfect choice to revive your home interior. Made to provide a rich, durable finish on wall & ceiling, you can be sure that this paint will look brilliant for longer. Fine cream is a unique shade of cream that will suit any interior design. Use this emulsion paint to create an effortlessly matt finish with easy application and minimal cleanup. This 2.5L size contains enough paint to cover up to 32.5 m² on average. For maximum results, apply with a brush or roller. This paint needs 2 coats to look its best, but its quick drying formula makes up for lost time, as you can recoat after just 2-4 hours. Made with protective technology, this paint is washable and resistant to stains, allowing you to free yourself from the worries of everyday damage to your new room. Additionally, our emulsion paint is water-based, has minimal VOCs, and is low odour, so it’s safe for you and your home.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster of plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Remove any loose or flaking material. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation

Dulux Easycare
I have bought Easycare Matt Emulsion before several times in different colours (despite reading a few poor reviews) and there have been no complaints from the decorators I’ve used. It’s great in high traffic areas, i.e. staircase etc as you can wipe off any dirty marks.

Choose another colour or brand
I use this brand all the time but do not buy this colour! Read the reviews elsewhere as well (some from professional decorators). The coverage is terrible. I’ve complained to dulux twice now and had no response. After 4 coats I gave up and went with another colour which gives great coverage. An expensive mistake. If I could give zero stars I would!

As a Dulux product it was very poor quality
I was extremely disappointed with the quality of this paint, having always used proprietary brands like Dulux or Crown I found this dreadful to use. The 1st coat was particularly difficult, if you tried to roller over a bit that you had just done it took off the paint.

Satisfactory
Used for stairwell, hallway and landing. Needed two coats, Due to its “easycare” ingredients rollering doesn’t give a fine texture finish, but a very quick manual brush over sorted. I would use it again, but perhaps consider going for the ordinary version rather than “easycare”

Dreadful opacity
I'm a professional decorator and used this colour (fine cream) at the request of a customer. It has absolutely dreadful opacity meaning it requires at least 3 coats for it to cover. I've used 'dulux easycare' colours before and never had this problem. Buy more than you need so that you can put extra coats on.
