This matt emulsion paint from the Dulux Easycare range is the perfect choice to refresh your home interior. Perfectly taupe is a wonderful shade of grey that will suit any interior design. Ensured to provide a long-lasting matt finish, this emulsion paint achieves a beautiful look, without compromising on quality. You can buy exactly what you need to complete your decorating job, as this 2.5L size will cover up to 32.5 m² on average. You can use a brush or roller to apply an even layer. This paint needs 2 coats to look its best, but its quick drying formula makes up for lost time, as you can recoat after just 2-4 hours. Made with protective technology, this paint is washable and resistant to stains, allowing you to free yourself from the worries of everyday damage to your new room. As well as looking brilliant, this water-based paint is safe for use in your home. It contains minimal VOCs and it has low odour levels, making it a safe choice for you and your environment.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster of plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Remove any loose or flaking material. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation

Emulsion paint
I brought this product for my for my bedroom and I was so impressed I’m going to yous it at my daughters witch I’m working on a the minute

Not a taupe, dark and purple tone
I bought this paint looking for beige/taupe tones. Not a taupe at all, it was very dark on the wall(!!) and purple tone (!!), just AWFUL. I bought then >>egyptian cotton<< which is absolutely lovely! On the packaginf lookis a bit yellowish but it is not. It is a beige/gray tone (dependng on lighting, but definitely beautiful beige in my room) and goes nicely with white, grey; and grey, dusty pink, gold or black accent. Any furniture colour will fit, too.

Very purple hue
Like many of the other reviews I need to agree this is not taupe as the undertones are too purple. It's not horrendous and certainly doesn't look lilac but it's not as neutral as I think some would hope, it would definitely need worked into a colour scheme more than many other "neutrals" in the range

Perfectly Lilac
Having painted a tester on an A4 card, the colour did look "Perfectly Taupe". We couldn't understand how some reviews talked about this paint looking lilac in colour. However..... the more of the room that we painted, the colour looked more and more lilac! Yes, in some lighting conditions it looks less lilac and more taupe, but be warned. Once you see the lilac shade you'll see it forever lol.

Excellent quality paint
Easycare has an excellent coverage and you can always complete the job in two coats. Also washable and wipeable.

NOT TAUPE
I purchased this item thinking I was going to get a beautifully taupe colour. Now my bedroom is a lilac, grey hue. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Love it
I absolutely love this colour. I've teamed it with Just Walnut on my hall, stairs and landing.. I can't stop looking at it. I love it. And as usual Dulux paint is the best..

Lovely paint but not at all taupe
This paint goes on really nicely but is not at all taupe, it’s definitely gone on as dark lilac or mauve which is not at all what I wanted for the space I chose it for. I wish I had read through the many reviews of the same opinion on this colour in the rest of the range as I’m now trying to decide how to utilise it elsewhere in the house so as not to waste a good product.
