A brilliant way to test new colours.
These little roller pots are a brilliant way to put patches of colour on the wall to see them in different lighting conditions, & contain enough paint to put a patch of several different walls. The colour is a bit more like primrose yellow IRL than it appears on my monitor, so I'm glad I tested it before committing to a large amount.

Did the job but messily
Colour is not bad but this style of tester is hard for me to use. Either get very little paint out and it doesn't cover enough or you try to gently squeeze and it drips.

Emulsion paint
Purchased to paint a room that had a darker colour and it was coated with 2 coats, dries fast and doesn't run.

Used to Repair to joints in the wallpaper
needed to paint over the joints of 2 sections of wallpaper that had come adrift and managed to match them in :) I'm sure there is some paint in the loft but I can't get in there.

Not very environmentally friendly
The current testers seem to contain less paint and more plastic than those I used to use. How is this progress?
