Dulux Trade Stain Block is a water-based primer suitable for use on interior walls and ceilings. It can be applied to both walls and ceilings using a brush or roller. Each tin covers a surface area of up to 14m² per litre.
- Suitable for Metal, plaster & wood surfaces
- Brush or roller application
- Instructions for Use - Do not spray. Stir thoroughly before use. After suitable surface application, apply 1 coat of Dulux Trade Stain Block Primer to all bare or stained surfaces to allow to dry. Two coats will be necessary for difficult stains.

It does what it says on the can
I bought the sealer to cover some stains on the ceiling and seems to be doing the job.

Worked Brilliantly On Odour Suppression
This paint was recommended to me by another company to eliminate a nasty odour that had been caused by their paint. I can't comment on the paints ability to block stains, but it certainly worked in blocking the odour. My room now smells normal again. This paint was quite thin and required 2 good coats. After application the walls looked quite shiny and were tacky for a couple of days. I left it for a full week to cure (as recommended). I then repainted my room using a normal emulsion paint and all is now well. Not cheap, but did the job I asked of it, so I'm very happy !!

Expensive and useless
Far more expensive than other stain blocks but it simply doesn't work. Avoid!

Stain Blocker...NOT
A very expensive doesnt work. Six coats and the stains still show, ah well back to the old fashioned method that does work, thined out gloss
