Features and benefits

At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Can't begin to tell you what a waste of money and time this paint is. I mixed it well and even then the only thing it would be useful for is a slightly glossy sheen over something you want to see underneath. Waste, waste, waste. Useless.

THIS product is great for use

As a professional painter and decorator for many years I have always sworn by Dulux. I have used many others at the request of customers, but Dulux is my 'go to' paint. Take your time on the preparation and the gloss coat will glide on and leave a perfect finish. Now retired (few years ago) I will not use any other paint in my home. Use the best brush you can afford.

    Great stuff!!! But slow drying..

This gloss is really excellent stuff. Goes on so easily and leaves no brush marks, the finish is like glass. You don't need to apply too much product, a little goes a long way once it's brushed out. Using it sparingly also avoids runs. The smell, well there is a little smell with this paint, but it's not bad at all and is soon gone if you open a window. It's nowhere near as bad as the solvent glosses of old. The only negative point in my opinion is it really does take quite a few days to dry and even then it's still tacky. I would say to fully harden after the initial dry takes around 2-3 weeks. It's then a very tough finish. As for the comments about it yellowing, well I painted some skirting and door frames over two years ago and they're still white with no yellowing at all. I also painted a handrail in water based gloss at the same time and the stair spindles in this paint and it's as white as the water based paint is to this day, so Dulux must have got the formula right now to avoid yellowing.

    Awful product

This product is not up to the usual standard. The paint was thin and runny and took days to dry. I need to strip it back to the wood and start again - with a different brand
