Dulux Stabilising Primer is a high quality ready to use primer suitable for interior and exterior surfaces. Use to strengthen, seal and prime brittle and dusty surfaces, such as plaster and powdery concrete render. The primer creates a sound surface for the appropriate Dulux topcoat. Ideal for use with Dulux Weathershield Masonry paint for exterior walls or Dulux paint for interior walls & ceilings.
- Suitable for Concrete & plaster surfaces
- Apply using a Brush or roller
- Instructions for Use - Apply 1 coat of Dulux Stabilising Primer with a brush or roller to seal any areas that remain powdery and dusty after the surface has been fully prepared. When fully dry, apply 2 coats of the selected Dulux topcoat. Apply only in dry conditions, above 10C and when bad weather is not forecast.

Good masonry primer
Seems fine. Used it on an external wall with chalky paint to seal and prime it for a new coat of masonry paint. Quite thin so goes on easily and gets into hairline cracks etc.

Simply the best
Flux stabiliser is one of the best I have used even on the chalkiest walls, it’s a time consuming job but worth it when a product works exceptionally well. Hatts off to Dulux

Easy to apply
I found this product ideal for sealing old brickwork to stop bricks decomposing. Easy to use with a paint sprayer.

No good!
Used on freshly plastered walls to seal them and shows streaks through after 4 coats of paint don’t use!

Easy to apply
I bought this to go onto bare, previously damp plaster; it was easy to apply and so far (2 months or so!) seems to have done a good job.
