- Dulux Silk is a smooth and creamy emulsion paint for use on walls and ceilings, giving a delicate shine finish. Silk emulsion looks especially good on perfectly plastered or skimmed walls. At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Beatiful warm tint and easy to apply
Bought this paint for the lounge which we wanted to be warm but not dark as not much natural light. It fits very well with the modern Akuwood wall panels, exposed brick fireplace and warm wood effect flooring. We did a colour drench so all walls, ceiling and skirtings, which looksamazing. It has a lovely sheen but not too much, is wipable and easy to apply. My only reason for the 4 rather than 5 stars is that it does have a slight pink hue sometimes which I guess comes from the brickworks.

Excellent quality paint!

The colour is great as well, not too dark but a nice warm grey colour. Got the 2.5L and it was plenty to do a small room. Definitely would recommend this dulux paint!

Great brand, great paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand is tried and tested as a market leader and for good cause. The paint is a good consistency (some other brands have been too watery or too thick). Also the application is easy and it looks nice when dry.

Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a easy paint to use it applied smoothly snd easily the colour was so nice and subtle and only needed 2 coats I would deffinalty recommend this brand and any colour if this is what you like

Lovely colour, great coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this paint! Dulux silk is the only paint I will use around my house. The colour is absolutely delightful, it’s a gorgeous pale grey which isnt too overbearing on the walls. The coverage is also fantastic so it doesn’t require many coats! Definitely recommended!

Fantastic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been looking for the right shade of light grey for a long time and so glad we found Chic shadow, it is exactly the shade on the tin, absolutely love the colour, we used a roller and went on the walls so easy, the paint doesn’t have a strong smell and dried quickly it has transformed the room the perfect light grey!
