Dulux Matt is a smooth and creamy emulsion paint for use on walls and ceilings which is ideal for a modern, flat finish. At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Dulux Nutmeg white
Paint went on the wall great but had to paint over it with white because i didnt like the colour.

Give it time
Used just short of 5l to coat an average double bedroom. Didn’t look great going on, takes a while to dry evenly. But, looks great once dried.

Go for the Colour with Vinyl
This is quite a thing paint, which can be incredibly patchy. I would recommend buying the paint with added vinyl, as this does mark quite easily. Lovely colour though.

Cracked Effect
Like the colour of this Nutmeg White (Matt) went on very nicely and was pretty quick at drying. Unfortunately once the paint had dried (painted on top of silk emulsion) the paint showed small cracking in the paint. The effect looks nice in a way but not what I’d expect from a full overage paint. I’ve read sometimes paint swells from the previous paint coat or it can be poorly made paint which hasn’t enough products in it to bind, or if the paint is out of date. Not sure which it could be but I know others have said similar things in reviews.
