The Easy Fit door set is a door and frame, already cut and routered for hinges and latch, ensuring it is easy to fit with no joinery expertise or specialist tools. The hinges, latch and latch plate are included so all you need to do is fix it into the door opening and add a handle. You can replace your existing door quickly and easily, just measure your existing opening to determine which size you require.

very good idea
the idea is very good but quality of screws are poor ,throw them away and buy good quality ones that are not made of butter then you will not have any problems with them bending and snapping and thats with pilot holes drilled. small amount of imperfections, dried glue on showing and a small knock but not worth sending back when a small problem can be over come. one other down is you will have to stay in all day , the tracking system does not work. but as i said the idea is very good and looks good in my building project

Easy as eating chips
I bought two as a test had to cut the bottom of both but save the bit you cut of and put it back in the bottom of the door with wood glue , it was so easy after that and they look perfect I have purchased 6 more

Fitted this door in last week and one thing you need to be aware of is that your doorway will be narrowed by around 3 inches. The reason for this is that the means by which it has the hinge fittings and door knob fittings already fitted involves a side strip having to be fitted on the left and right of your door. On the left side strip the hinges are fitted and the right side is where the catch fits. The hinges are a specific design to work with this door. As I used the door for a cupboard I did not mind the loss of 3 inches from the doorway but I would not use it for a room door. I used wood glue when attaching the wood strips to the left and right of the doorway before screwing them down as it adds to the strength. I also used a few more screws than the instructions recommended for the same reasons. I encountered a further complexity in that my door way was narrower at the bottom than the top and this meant I had to plane the right hand strip to ensure that the door fitted. The door looks good and is prepainted but I plan to overcoat with eggshell. It is a strong door made of chipboard with plywood strips around it. Be careful when screwing into the strips or door as you can easily make a mark. Overall if your doorway is a standard size then you will be able to fit the door in within 20 minutes with a screw driver. If not it will take a lot longer.

So easy to fit!!
At last a door that can be fitted without being an expert carpenter. Fitted easily myself and after a few easy adjustments to square it all off it was ready to use. Will be purchasing more

Not so good
If I had the perfect home, with perfect frames to begin with, then I wouldn't need this, Bought it anyway, and guess what? Needed a joiner, Good idea, but, tradesmen still needed
