Great hold into timber joists
Used these for overboarding with plasterboard over existing lath and plaster. The coarse thread holds into timbers really well and the smooth part helps as well. This was because the total thickness of board and old plaster was high. Get 65mm as well as if they're long enough, they're easier to use.
