DIY Toilet Repairs
Bought to seal around the base nut and baseplate of a close-coupled toilet after changing the siphon. This worked perfectly - I no longer have leaks from the wing-nuts or base plate.

Effective but can be quite fiddly to apply
Plumber’s Mait is effective and easy to apply, with no special tools required. The product successfully stops leaks and is particularly good for sealing plumbing joints, I need to replace x2 sink waste pop-ups which worked well. I did find the stickiness of the product a bit challenging as it became very fiddly to apply especially when working in a cramped space. I think I read somewhere that it was advisable to keep it in the fridge overnight before usage, which I think would be a good idea.
