this is us an old classic, great glue if used properly. best to use clamps or straps to hold surfaces together for a minimum of 24 hours

The perfect wood glue
Since I have been able to do DIY , my dad brought me up on this PVA. I have been using it on all sorts of wood joints in the garden and for attaching polystyrene sheets to a wood frame in the garden.....and it's holding firm. Easy to clean of fthe excess with a damp cloth and when it's bonded, the wood will split before the joint!
