Expamet plates (BAT U-Nail Plates)
I have used a lot of these to build roof trusses up to 10.300m span. Totally brilliant. For small trusses and joints etc, use 38mm screws rather than the expense of 38mm square twisted sherradised nails. For larger trusses you will need a design but BAT may do this for you.
