Nice colour

Needed an extra tin patch up some areas around a door. Ghe colour matches perfectly as expected good coverage and like the flat Matt appearance although perhaps not as har wearing as other paints

Lovely warm Grey

Lovely colour, it’s a warm grey no blue tones, goes on great and covers well, I used it to roller a bathroom cabinet and the finish is great, slight sheen but not definitely not a shine.

Dream to apply

The colour is simply gorgeous. The paint quality outstanding. We looked at alternative cheaper options however the colours just didn’t compare and neither did the paint! We used the mid tone primer also. It all went on like a dream and looks stunning over panelling.

Perfect trim color

Used this as exterior trim on a dollhouse with creamy white siding. Samples are the perfect size :)

Not a pleasant colour - 1 / 5 - 21/10/2024

Not what we expected.

What It Says On The Tin

I ordered - I'm sure - a 2.5 litre tin of Hardwick White Estate Eggshell online. This was for 4 kitchen chairs and other furniture - a colour I have used for years. I received it very promptly. Foolishly, and without really checking, I opened the tin and commenced painting. Only when they dried I saw there was very little sheen on the chairs. On further inspection I realised I had received a tin of Estate Emulsion instead of Estate Eggshell - a 2% sheen instead of 20%. I don't know if it is possible for you to check my original order to see if I had ordered Eggshell or Emulsion. The main error, of course, was mine in not checking the tin. I have no complaints at all about Farrow & Ball - their service or their paints, but these chairs don't look nearly as good without their previous 20% sheen.

Kitchen revamp

After getting a quote to replace our old pine kitchen we decided to try and revive the kitchen rather than replace it entirely. Hardwick White has transformed the orange pine and brightened the entire kitchen. It was easy to apply and only took two coats. I bought the 5 litre pot which was expensive but such good value. The colour is amazing, a heritage colour that suited our house.
