- Surface Preparation - All surfaces to be painted must be sound, clean, dry & well prepared. The correct Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat should be used before the topcoat is applied.

Rich & sophisticated chocolate brown
This brown is a rich sophisticated brown. So many browns have a reddish orange lean in shade, however this one has a dark eggplant base in certain lights. I love this shade it is a perfect deep chocolate — think 90% cocoa. I purchased it in high gloss for the front door. The professional who painted the door commented on the quality of the primer (I used dark tinted as F&B recommended and two coats of the Mahogany shade. Dries quickly with no odor. I highly recommend this special ad unique rich brown shade.

Great paint and undercoat primer.
Using the undercoat and primer at the moment,it’s wonderful covered dark brown paint.is now stoney ground.and great as usual I don’t use any other paint.love the colours ,and it’s easy to use..and you get what you paid for in quality.the new Dead Flat is great also.im thrilled with the change.i didn’t think the old paint would cover but it has.i havnt got to the Mahogany yet that’s for the spindles,
