Farrow & Ball Estate Emulsion paint is a classic choice for interior walls and ceilings – this tin covers up to 35m² per 2.5 litres on average. Oval Room Blue is the most "blackened" of Farrow & Ball blues, containing a generous amount of the black pigment that gives many Farrow & Ball colours their earthy, lived-in feel. It sits beautifully in a scheme alongside greys, creating rooms of depth and balance.
- Surface Preparation - All surfaces to be painted must be sound, clean, dry & well prepared. The correct Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat should be used before the topcoat is applied.

Stunning colour!
Having always stuck with neutral colours, I was looking for something different. I tried to find a shade of blue I liked for weeks, and then I stumbled across this stunning shade. Absolutely beautiful colour. My front room looks cosy and warm. Have had many compliments on how lovely it looks. The only downside I'm not overly convinced of how hard-wearing it will be in a high usage area. I already have a couple of marks and a chip or two so have had to go around touching up areas. Having done a lot of decorating, it's the most expensive paint I have ever used. I wouldn't use it for my next project (hallway) as I don't think it would stand up to the wear and tear of that area.

Paint didn’t match the current Farrow and Ball
We bought the same coloured Farrow and Ball from B and Q but it was a different colour to the existing. It should be identical.

Pleased with this product
Loved this paint..has a flat matt finish and makes a statement wall stand out..it needs about 3 coats for the true colour but very pleased..right on trend.

Fantastic paint
Used this paint so many times. The finish is just the best. Worth the extra money against the other more common brands

Terrible paint lovely colours.
Decided to use F&B even though our painters advised against it simply because the colours are so much better than other suppliers. Big mistake. 3 coats needed and the paint is expensive but worse than that the Matt estate emulsion scratches off without much effort. Barely hit my nail against the wall yesterday and a huge scratch appeared! Used their undercoat as well. Disappointed.

Paint quality
First time user of farrow and ball paint was very disappointed and wouldn't use again due to the coverage it took 3 coats to look like a good finish
