This White Tie no.2002 silk sheen estate eggshell paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply 2 coats with a brush, roller or spray and leave for 2 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 9m² per 750ml on average.

Perfect for painting beams in an old cottage
I used distemper to paint the beams in my 17th century cottage. They were stained black and made the room look dark. I thoroughly cleaned the beams with sugar soap and water before giving them a coat of white primer, followed by two coats of F&B distemper in White Tie. I love the finish and the colour is so pretty. I had some distemper left over so I used it on the walls in my stairwell. It's a painted stone wall and the distemper creates a beautiful soft finish.

Great product.
Been using “White Tie” eggshell for years. Not cheap, but quality never is. Always reliable and dries to a tough, hard waring finish that will last for years. And a tin goes a remarkably long way. Thoroughly recommended.
