Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
- Suitable for use on Metal, plaster & wood surfaces
- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Brinjal dead flat Awful coverage beautiful colour
Absolutely awful coverage, Brinjal dead flat 4 coats needed to get it looking right. Started with a mist coat on the walls, ceilings and skirting, all of them took 4 coats, some areas 5. Much worse than any other paints I’ve used (Coat, Lick, Craig & Rose). Gone through 9 litres of paint to get the room done The colour and pigment is though, looks fantastic.

Brinjal
Brinjal is a rich enchanting color. It transports you to the days of "drawing" and "parlor" rooms. Where you would have afternoon tea with friends or neighbors.

Very poor gloss paint
Absolutely terrible paint, poor coverage, need to scrap the project of the front door and start again. The gloss finish is simply not glossy. An experienced decorator using the right F&B undercoat with all the prep as recommended has produced a terrible result The colour has needed 5 coats and is still patchy Whilst we have never had problem with emulsion paints the most recent gloss and eggshell are not good

Amazing Paint!
Really happy with this colour paint! We have been searching for something like this for years for a special little room, which now looks fabulous after we painted it with this. Thanks for such special paint!

Not worth it.
So disappointed. For starters, the sample pot colour was completely different on wood due to the sheen. Since pots are only available in one sheen, it was a complete waste. Coverage was awful and the recommended primer only made the colour more red on the wood. I was so excited about the colour initially and ended up disappointed, which led me to find a new colour from a competitor. I would not risk it again. Wanted to love Farrow and Ball but do not see the appeal at this point. I wasted time and money.
